Removal


1. Loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.

3. Remove the wheel.

4. Disconnect the outer brake shoe mounting clamp.

5. Disconnect the brake hose from the support bracket.

5. Disconnect the brake hose from the support bracket.

NOTE: Pull the caliper outward to release the piston.
Disconnect the caliper.
  • 1.Remove the bolt covers.
  • 2. Unscrew the bolts.

2. Unscrew the bolts.

CAUTION: Temporary support must be provided.




Suspend the caliper to avoid pressure on the brake hose.

8. Remove the brake disc. Remove the clamp (if present).

Installation


1.
NOTE: Before installation, make sure the hub surface is clean, free of rust and sediment.


When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
