Rear disc brake disc (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Release the parking brake.

2. Remove the wheel. For additional information, refer to Section 204-04.

3. Disconnect the parking cable from the brake caliper.

• 1.Pull back the parking brake lever.
• 2. Disconnect the cable from the parking brake lever.
• 3. Remove the pipe clamp (if present).
• 4. Disconnect the cable and cable sheath.

CAUTION: Support the brake caliper and anchor plate to prevent their weight from placing stress on the brake hose.

Remove the brake caliper and anchor plate from the wheel knuckle.



5. Remove the brake disc. Remove the clamp (if installed).

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

2. Adjust the parking cable. Refer to Section 206-05 for additional information.
