Removal


1. General notes:
  • Depending on the nature of the damage, sectional replacement of the rear panel is possible.
  • Before starting repairs, remove the bumper, taillight, tailgate seal, lock counter part and rear muffler of the exhaust system.
  • Move flooring and electrical wiring away from the work area.

2. Rear panel (both sides)
  • 1. Rout to a depth equal to twice the panel thickness.
  • 2. Mill out the spot weld areas using an abrasive wheel.
