Removal

1. General note

• Remove the following items: bumper, luggage compartment floor covering, spare tire cover, rear exhaust muffler and skid plates.

2. Remove the rear panel section

• 1. Rout the spot welds (to a depth equal to twice the panel thickness).
• 2. Place of cutting.
• 3. Rout out the spot weld areas using an abrasive wheel.

Installation

1. Sectional replacement of the rear panel

• 1. Drill the existing holes to 5 mm (to a depth equal to the panel thickness) and perform puddling welding.
• 2. Perform puddling welding.
• 3. Perform welding using MIG technology.
