Removal

1. General notes:

• Remove the following components: bumper, lock striker, taillights and tailgate seal.
• Move flooring and electrical wiring away from the work area.

2. Tail panel

• 1. Rout the spot welds (to a depth equal to twice the panel thickness).
• 2. Rout out the spot weld areas using an abrasive wheel.

Installation

1. Tail panel

• 1. Drill the existing holes to 5 mm (to a depth equal to the panel thickness) and perform puddling welding.
• 2. Perform puddling welding.
