Seat belt lock and tensioner — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the front seat. See Section 501-10 for more information.

2. Disconnect the seat belt pretensioner electrical connector on the back of the seat.

CAUTION: To facilitate assembly, mark the position and wiring of the wiring harness. Incorrect wiring harnesses can damage the wiring in the seat mechanism.

Disconnect the seat belt pretensioner harness from the back of the seat.



4. Remove the buckle and the seat belt tensioner.

Installation

1. To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
