Rear seat belt retractor mechanism (station wagon) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Raise the rear seat cushion.

2. Disconnect the lower rear seat belt anchor from the floor panel.



3. Fold the rear seat back backwards.

CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove the seat belt retractor trim cover.

Remove the upper luggage compartment trim panel.

• Remove the screws.
• Route the seat belt webbing through the upper luggage compartment trim panel.

5. Remove the rear seat belt retractor mechanism.

Installation

1.

CAUTION: Make sure that the seat belt retractor setting tab is in the proper position.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
