Rear Seat Belt Retractor (4-Door) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Raise the rear seat cushion.

2. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchor element.



3. Remove the retractor cover.



4. Remove the intermediate C-pillar trim section.

• Disconnect the mounting clamps.

5. Remove the trim panel between the B and C pillars.

• First, disconnect the clamp on the C-pillar.

6. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.





7. Remove the rear luggage rack. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05.

8. Remove the seat belt retractor mechanism.

Installation

1.

CAUTION: Make sure the retractor locating pin is positioned correctly.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
