Removal
4-door version, 5-door version and "Station wagon"
1. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchor element.

3-door version
2. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchor element.
- 1. Remove the hex bolt from the mounting element rail.
- 2. Remove the seat belt from the fastening element rail.

All cars

NOTE: Some factory trim panels have a retaining clip that attaches to the leading edge.
Disconnect the upper B-pillar trim panel.
- 1. Disconnect the mounting clamps.
- 2. Remove the bolt and washer from the lower seat belt webbing (4-door, 5-door and Estate shown).
- 3. Route the seat belt webbing through the upper B-pillar trim panel.

4. Disconnect the upper seat belt anchor element.

5. Remove the height adjustment mechanism.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: Make sure the spacer is positioned correctly between the floor mat and the inside of the door sill.
CAUTION: Make sure the pin on the B-pillar trim is correctly positioned in the height adjustment mechanism.
CAUTION: Before tightening the hex bolt, ensure that the rear end of the mounting rail is correctly positioned (3-door models).
To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
