All Focus models with a manual gearbox use a single-plate dry clutch - a simple and practical design. For the enthusiast, the single-plate dry clutch has a drawback, which is that the wearing parts, such as the clutch release bearing and driven disk, are not very accessible. To do this, you need to disconnect the gearbox from the engine and dismantle it - a job that requires solid knowledge and special tools. Therefore, it is better to leave the replacement of clutch units to a specialized workshop.
