After repairing the gearbox, never start the engine without adding oil, otherwise the units will run dry. If the battery of your Focus with an automatic transmission is discharged, you cannot simply push or tow the car: the hydraulic torque converter no longer creates a connection between the engine and the gearbox when the engine is not running. Help: you always have a kit with an auxiliary cable on board to jump-start the engine, ask another driver to help jump-start the engine.

If you have to tow your Focus with an automatic transmission, the selector lever must be in the "N" position and the towing vehicle must not be moving faster than 50 km/h or for more than 50 km. Otherwise, the transmission will be damaged, just as if, for example, new oil was not added or poured in after a transmission repair.
