Remove the hose clamps 1 on the cuff, if necessary, remove the ventilation hose 2.
Remove cuff 3 outwards.

Before installation, clean and lightly lubricate the tie rod.
Carefully slide the seal onto the tie rod. Lubricate both ends first. Make sure the seal is not twisted and sits correctly in the grooves of the tie rod and the steering gear housing, otherwise grease will leak out or the seal will tear over time.
Secure the cuff with new tension straps and connect the ventilation tube.
Install the tie rod end. Tighten the new self-locking nuts to 35 Nm.
Check the wheel alignment and steering wheel position - if necessary, have it adjusted at a workshop.
