Remove the hose clamps 1 on the cuff, if necessary, remove the ventilation hose 2.
Remove cuff 3 outwards.
Dismantle the cuff
Clean and lightly lubricate the tie rod before installation.
Carefully slide the boot over the tie rod. Lubricate both ends first. Make sure that the cuff is not twisted and sits correctly in the grooves of the tie rod and steering gear housing, otherwise grease will come out or the cuff will tear over time.
Fix the cuff with new tension bands, connect the ventilation tube.
Install the tie rod end. Tighten the new self-locking nuts to 35 Nm.
Check the wheel alignment and steering wheel position - if necessary, have it adjusted by the workshop.
