Disconnect the right or left side of the tie rod from the steering knuckle arm.
Unscrew the tip with the tie rod end pipe. Count the number of turns (or thread turns) while unscrewing the tip.
Disconnect the boot clamp from the steering gear side (Fig. 5.6).

Clean the tie rod and lubricate it with tubeless tire mounting paste.
Install the new cover and secure with new clamps.
Screw the tip into the traction pipe, performing the number of turns that you remembered during disassembly.
Connect the tie rod to the steering knuckle arm.
If necessary, repeat the above steps on the other side of the vehicle and replace the second rubber boot.
Set the wheel alignment.
