Knowing the data regarding the installation of wheels and measuring the actual angles are of practical importance. Comparing these values allows you to assess installation errors. A device (for example, one manufactured by BOSCH) is required to perform the measurements. Therefore, wheels should be installed in specialized workshops that have the appropriate tools.
The values of the wheel alignment angles are given in section 1.1.
The following conditions must be met during measurements.
Tires must be in good condition, evenly worn and free from damage.
Tire pressure must comply with factory requirements.
Wheel rims must be free from damage.
Clearances in wheel bearings and joints must comply with factory requirements.
The vehicle must be parked on a flat and level surface.
The fuel tank should be filled to half its capacity.
The wheel suspension must be factory-made.
