Oil pressure warning light

The oil pressure indicator light comes on after the ignition is switched on and should go out after the engine is started. Turning off the control light indicates that the oil pressure is normal. If this light comes on while the engine is running or comes on while driving, stop the vehicle immediately and turn off the engine. After two minutes, check the oil level in the oil pan (see subsection 2.3) and, if necessary, supplement its quantity.

If the oil level is normal and the control lamp lights up again after starting the engine, then turn off the engine and tow the car to check and repair the engine lubrication system.

Attention! The engine must not be allowed to run with the oil pressure warning light on.

Battery charging control lamp

The battery charging control lamp lights up after the ignition is switched on and should go out after the engine is started when the battery is charging. If this light comes on while the engine is running, it indicates a battery charging circuit malfunction. While driving, in this case, you should stop and check the integrity and tension of the alternator drive V-belt.

If the belt is in good condition and its tension is normal, and the control lamp is still lit with the engine running, then the battery charging circuit should be checked. You can continue driving to the nearest service station, however, you should limit the consumption of electrical energy from the battery to a minimum by turning off all unnecessary current consumers that are not required by traffic regulations.

Coolant temperature gauge and engine overheat warning light

During normal operation of the vehicle, the pointer of the coolant temperature gauge should be in the middle, white range of the scale.

If the arrow moves to the red section of the scale, and the engine overheat warning light comes on, you should immediately stop the car and turn off the engine.

If the light is on and the pointer is in the initial range of the scale (engine cold), this may mean that the coolant level is too low. If the level is normal, and after starting the engine, the light again indicates that the engine is overheating, then you should contact a service station for help.

Attention! Do not continue driving with the engine overheating light on, as this could cause serious engine damage.

Lamp signaling the handbrake and too low brake fluid level

Illuminates when the handbrake lever is not fully released (handbrake not off).

It also lights up if the brake fluid level in the reservoir is too low. The brake fluid level should be checked and topped up to the mark "MAX". The need for frequent replenishment of the brake fluid level indicates a leak in the hydraulic system. You should contact a service station for help.

Anti-lock braking system warning light (ABS)

In versions of cars equipped with an anti-lock braking system, the simultaneous ignition of the ABS warning lights and a too low brake fluid level means that in the hydraulic control unit of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) pressure drop has occurred.

If only the anti-lock braking system warning light comes on (ABS) , then stop the car, turn off the ignition and start the engine again after a minute. If the control lamp lights up again after starting the engine or while driving, this means that the electronic control unit of the anti-lock braking system has registered a system malfunction.

In both cases (too low brake fluid level and malfunction of the anti-lock system) contact a service station immediately for assistance.

Fuel gauge and reserve indicator light

The pointer shows, also after turning off the ignition, the approximate amount of fuel in the car's fuel tank. When it is on the red section of the scale, it means that there is less than 8 dm3 of fuel left in the tank. This additionally confirms the ignition of the control lamp.

Engine preheat warning light

This light comes on after the ignition is turned on when the engine is cold. Turning it off means that the glow plugs are hot enough to start the diesel engine. Immediately after turning off the light, you must start the engine.

Tachometer

Shows the number of revolutions of the crankshaft of the engine expressed in thousand revolutions per minute.

Speedometer

Indicates the speed of movement in kilometers per hour. In addition, it contains a counter of kilometers traveled by the vehicle since the start of operation, as well as a daily km counter indicating the number of kilometers traveled since the last reset of the counter.

Button for resetting the daily kilometer counter

Pressing this button resets the readings of the daily kilometer counter.

Control lamp of indexes of turns

Flashes after turning on the turn signal. If the flashing frequency increases significantly, this means that one of the direction indicator bulbs is not lit.

High beam control lamp

Lights up after switching on the high beam headlights.

Hazard warning light

Illuminates after the emergency lights are turned on.

Brake pad wear warning light

In some versions of the vehicle equipment there is a brake pad wear warning lamp that lights up when the brake linings of the front disc brakes wear down to a thickness of 2 mm. This means the need to replace the brake pads in the brakes of both front wheels as soon as possible (4 pieces).

Attention! The brake pad wear warning lamp comes on after the ignition is switched on and goes out only after pressing the brake pedal once, thus confirming the correct functioning of its circuit.
