Front toe

The front hook is on the right side under the front bumper.

Rear toe

The rear hook is located on the right side under the rear bumper.

Attention! In a towed vehicle, the ignition key must be set to the "II" (steering wheel unlocked and ignition on). This will allow the steering wheel to be rotated as well as the direction indicators, horn and brake lights to function.

Attention! The vacuum brake booster functions only when the engine is running. Therefore, if it is necessary to brake the towed vehicle, the brake pedal must be pressed much harder than usual, and the braking distance can be correspondingly longer.

Towing a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission

In the vehicle being towed, the gearshift lever must be set to the position "N".

The speed must not exceed 80 km/h and the towing distance must not exceed 20 km.

Attention! In a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission, the engine cannot be started by pushing or towing the vehicle.

Trailer

After connecting the trailer to the vehicle, pay attention to:
  • not exceeding the permissible weight of the trailer;
  • not exceeding the permissible load on the rear axle of the vehicle.
