Front hook
The front hook is located on the right side under the front bumper.
Rear hook
The rear hook is located on the right side under the rear bumper.
Caution! In a towed vehicle, the ignition key must be set to position "II" (steering wheel unlocked and ignition on). This will allow the steering wheel to be turned, as well as the use of direction indicators, horn and brake lights.
Attention! The brake booster only functions when the engine is running. Therefore, if it is necessary to brake a towed vehicle, you should press the brake pedal much harder than usual, and the braking distance may be correspondingly longer.
Towing a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission
In a towed vehicle, the gearshift lever should be set to the "N" position.
The speed should not exceed 80 km/h and the towing distance should not exceed 20 km.
Caution: In a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission, the engine cannot be started by pushing or towing the vehicle.
Trailer
After connecting the trailer to the vehicle, you should pay attention to:
- not exceeding the permissible trailer weight;
- do not exceed the permissible load on the rear axle of the vehicle.
