2. Remove the clutch release bearing together with the lever.

3. Unscrew and remove the reversing light switch.

4. Unscrew the clutch housing mounting bolts (indicated by arrows) and remove it.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the clutch release bearing guide sleeve with the gasket from the front side of the gearbox.

6. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the top cover with the gasket. The arrow shows the location of the spring locks holding the engaged gear.

7. Unscrew the bolts and remove the 5th gear lock plate from the rear crankcase.
8. Remove the retaining spring with the 5th gear engagement fork lock from the rear crankcase.
9. Using a screwdriver, knock out the rear cover of the rear crankcase through the hole for the gear shift lever.

10. Engage reverse gear and move the selector lever shaft rearward. Place the shaft on a wooden block, then remove the selector lever mounting roller pin and remove the connector from the rear end of the selector shaft.
11. Unscrew the bolts and remove the rear crankcase.

12. Remove the cover from the rear crankcase and remove the speedometer drive gear.

13. Set the gears to neutral, then use a hex key to unscrew the mounting screws and remove the gear selector lever lock plug on the side of the gearbox housing, then remove the spring and lock.
14. Remove the pin from the gear selector lever hub and from the gear selector lever shaft.

15. Remove the gear selector lever axis centering spring and the 5th gear lock. To do this, use a small screwdriver to knock out the plug and pin and move the lock from the gear selector lever axis.
16. Mark the relative positions of the shift mechanism components, then remove the shaft from the rear of the gearbox, remove the shaft sleeve and lock plate, the first/second, third/fourth gear forks, the fifth gear fork and adapter sleeve.

17. Remove the retaining ring and pull the fifth gear synchronization unit out of the common housing, leaving it free on the secondary shaft. Move the fifth gear driven gear off the fifth gear synchronization unit hub.

18. Engage two gears simultaneously (to lock the gearbox) and unscrew the nut securing the 5th gear on the intermediate shaft.
19. Using a rod, push back the intermediate shaft gear block axle. The rod should be in constant contact with the intermediate shaft gear block axle to prevent the bearing needles from falling out.
20. Attach the fixture to the front of the transmission housing.

21. Remove the 5th gear pinion from the intermediate shaft using tool 16.033.
22. Insert the intermediate shaft gear block axle back into its original place, pushing out the axle of the 16.033 device by hand.
23. Remove the retaining ring of the gear block bearing in the middle part of the gearbox housing.
24. Remove the bearing spacer sleeve.
25. Disengage both previously engaged gears.
26. Unscrew the bolt holding the middle part of the gearbox housing by 6–7 mm and move the middle part of the housing away.

27. Press the gear block bearing deep into the middle part of the crankcase using two thin screwdrivers (1 and 2 are screwdrivers, 3 is a bolt) and remove the outer bearing ring.
28. Move the gear block axle back enough to allow the gear block to be removed from the crankcase.
29. Place the intermediate shaft gear block on the bottom of the front part of the gearbox housing.

30. Remove the secondary shaft together with the middle part of the crankcase.

31. Remove the input shaft.

32. Using the appropriate puller (large diameter sleeve, M8x60 bolt with nut), remove the axle of the intermediate gear of the reverse gear.
33. Remove the retaining ring and the reverse gear lever shaft.

34. Remove the magnet from the lower part of the primary shaft housing.
