Direction indicator system (Scorpio 1)

            0

The direction indicator system consists of an electronic switch unit, a switch for external and control lights and wires. The hazard warning light system operates from the same electronic switch unit.

If the turn signals flash too fast or too slow on only one side of the car, you need to check the bulbs and wires on that side. The flashing speed can be affected by the installed bulbs of the wrong power, oxidized contacts in the sockets or poor ground contact.

If the turn signals do not work at all, check the integrity of the fuse before looking for a fault in the electronic unit of the interrupter. If the hazard warning system works, but the turn signals do not work, then the electronic unit of the interrupter is in good condition.

The electronic switch unit is connected to the turn signal switch on the side of the steering wheel. The unit can be disconnected by removing the upper steering column cover.
