1. Remove the protective cap of the rear wheel and loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Loosen the hub nut at the end of the axle shaft.

Attention! The left wheel hub nut has a left-hand thread, and the right wheel has a right-hand thread.


3. Raise and secure the rear of the vehicle, remove the corresponding wheel.

4. Remove brake drum.

5. Unscrew the hub nut at the end of the axle shaft.

6. Using an external puller, remove the wheel hub.

7. Unscrew and remove the four bolts securing the wheel bearing housing to the suspension arm and remove the rear wheel hub bearing housing.

8. Remove two O-rings from the wheel bearing housing, as well as tapered bearings (outdoor and indoor).

9. Knock out the outer races of the bearings with a bronze rod.

10. Clean the inside surface of the wheel bearing housing. Fit the bearing outer races into the housing using tool 14.019.

11. Lubricate the space between the bearings with grease and insert the tapered bearings into the housing.


12. Insert the O-rings into the housing using tool 14.019.

13. Screw in the bolts securing the bearing housing to the suspension arm and tighten them to the appropriate torque.

14. Insert the hub flange onto the axle shaft, put a gasket on the axle shaft and screw in a new nut without final tightening.

15. Install the brake drum.

16. Put on the wheel, tighten the wheel nuts and lower the car.

17. Tighten the wheel hub nut at the end of the axle shaft to the appropriate torque and fix it by embossing the cylindrical part of the nut, with a steel punch in the thread groove.

18. Tighten the wheel nuts to the appropriate torque.
