Replacing the right powertrain suspension support (Fusion)

The power unit is mounted on two supports with rubber cushions on the right and left and one support (also with a rubber cushion) secured via a bracket on the gearbox housing.

You will need: a 15 mm socket head and an 18 mm wrench.

1. Remove the expansion tank (see "Removal and installation the expansion tank").

2. Place a secure support under the engine or lift it using a lifting mechanism.

3. Unscrew the three nuts securing the support studs to the engine cylinder block bracket…

4. …unscrew the three bolts securing the support to the body side member…

5. …and remove the support.

6. Install the right powertrain suspension support in the reverse order of removal.
