1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the air filter (see "Removal and installation the air filter").
3. Disconnect the high-voltage wires from the ignition coil terminals.
4. Remove the four ignition coil mounting screws…
5. …and remove the coil.
6. Install the ignition coil and all previously removed parts in reverse order.
