Removal
1. Remove the right axle shaft and intermediate shaft. Refer to Section 205-04 for additional information.
2. Using the special tool, remove the axle shaft oil seal.
Installation
1. Using the special tool, install the axle shaft oil seal.
2. Install the right half shaft and intermediate shaft. Refer to Section 205-04 for additional information.
3. Check the transmission fluid level in the transmission unit with the drive axle, if necessary, adjust it using the same transmission fluid for a manual transmission. For more information, see the chapter Draining transmission fluid from the transmission in the drive axle unit and pouring transmission fluid into the transmission in the drive axle unit available in this section.
