Cardan shaft



Type - Two- or three-section with one or two intermediate supports, front, middle and rear universal joints; constant velocity joint or elastic rubber joint (depending on the model).

Rear axle



Type - With fully or three-quarters unloaded axle shafts and hypoid main gear.

Identification:
  • Bridge type "H" - Mod. 34
  • Bridge type "G" - Mod. 51, mod. 51A or mod. 53

Final drive ratios:
  • H-Type Axle - 3.9:1, 4.11:1, 4.56:1 or 5.14:1
  • G-Type Axle - 4.63:1, 5.14:1 or 5.83:1
  • Hub bearing play - G-type axle - 0.05-0.20 mm
  • Type and volume of lubricant - see. "Lubricants, fluids and volumes".
