Gear shift lever — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the shift lever cover.

• 1. Remove the shift lever handle.
• 2. Release the cover.
• Disconnect the connectors (quantity and configuration depends on the specific equipment).

2. Remove the shift lever from the manual transmission.

• 1. Disconnect shift cables and gear selection.
• 2. Turn out bolts.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

2. Adjust the shift mechanism. See Section 308-00 for more information.
