Inspection and verification


1. Check the customer complaint by using the system.

2. Perform a visual inspection for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

  • Fuse Box(s)
  • Lamp(s)
  • Wiring harness
  • Loose or corroded connector(s)
  • Accessories installed subsequently
  • Switch(es)

3. If an obvious cause for a problem noted or described by the customer is found, correct it (if possible) before moving on to further actions.

4. If the cause of the complaint is not obvious upon visual inspection, clarify the symptom of the malfunction and refer to the Symptoms Table.
