Removal

1. General note.

• Before starting repairs, remove the rear side panel, tailgate panel and water drain panel together with its reinforcement panel.

2. Reinforcement panel of the lock's counter part

• Mill spot welds.

3. Outer wheel arch with inner rear side panel

• 1. Open spot welds by cutting them.
• 2. Rout spot welds (to a depth equal to twice the panel thickness).

4. Inner rear side panel

• 1. Cutting places
• 2. Remove the remaining flange from the C-pillar reinforcement.

5. Seat belt mounting panel

• Mill out the spot welds on the inside.

Installation

1. Wheel arch with inner rear side panel and reinforcement panels

• 1. Perform puddling welding.
• 2. MIG weld the inner rear side panel.
• 3. Perform puddling welding (to a depth equal to twice the panel thickness).

2. Seat belt mounting panel

• Perform puddling welding.
