Removal

1. General notes:

• Before beginning repairs, remove the door, door seal, lower trim panel, lower door hinge, fender and inner fender.
• Move flooring and electrical wiring away from the work area.
• Note the cutout for the replacement part in the A-pillar area.

2. Bottom trim panel

• 1. Cutting zone.
• 2. Place of cutting.

Installation

1. Bottom trim panel

• 1. On the cut edge, spot weld a backing strip and weld using MIG technology.
• 2. Perform welding using MIG technology.
• 3. Perform puddling welding.
