Petrol engines
Remove the drive belt as described above.
Loosen the tension roller mounting nuts (arrows).
Loosen the tension roller mounting nuts (arrows)
Remove the tension roller.
Install a new tensioner pulley and pre-tighten.
Tighten the fastening nuts to 25 Nm.
Complete the installation in reverse order. Tighten the clamping bolts on the tension roller by hand (approx. 5-6 Nm).
Diesel engines
Remove the drive belt as described above.
Remove the servo control pump.
Loosen the servo expansion tank and, having secured it from leakage, set it aside.
Loosen the tension roller mounting nuts (arrows).
Loosen the fastening solders (arrows) of the tension roller (diesel engine)
Remove the tension roller.
Install a new tensioner pulley and pre-tighten.
Tighten the mounting nuts to 48 Nm.
Complete the installation in reverse order. Tighten the clamping bolts on the tension roller by hand (approximately 5-6 Nm).
