V-belt tensioner replacement

Gasoline engines

Remove the drive belt as described above.

Loosen the fixing nuts (arrows) tension roller.



Remove the tension roller.

Install a new idler pulley and pre-tighten.

Tighten the fixing nuts to 25 Nm.

Complete installation in reverse order. Tighten the clamping bolts on the tension roller by hand (about 5-6 Nm).

Diesel engines

Remove the drive belt as described above.

Remove the servo pump.

Loosen the fastening of the expansion tank of the servo control and, after protecting it from leakage, set it aside.

Loosen the fixing nuts (arrows) tension roller.



Remove the tension roller.

Install a new idler pulley and pre-tighten.

Tighten the fixing nuts to 48 Nm.

Complete installation in reverse order. Tighten the clamping bolts on the tension roller by hand (about 5-6 Nm).
