If the starter is on strike, then often several units are to blame. For example, the electromagnetic switch or graphite brushes are jammed or worn out. The support journals of the anchor shaft can also wear out in the supports. Before starting repairs, it is better to decide in favor of a starter for exchange or a used unit in good condition from a car after an accident. As spare parts, Ford offers starters for exchange only as a set.
