Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or lift.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Unscrew the nut securing the power cable terminal…
3….and the nut securing the terminal of the control wire of the traction relay.
4. Move the wires to the side.
5. Remove the three starter mounting bolts…
6….and remove the starter.
7. Install the starter in the reverse order of removal.
