Removal and installation of a starter

You will need: socket wrenches "for 10", "for 13".

Place the vehicle on a pit or lift.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.



2. Unscrew the nut securing the power wire terminal..



3.... and a nut for fastening the terminal of the control wire of the traction relay.



4. Move the wires aside.



5. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a starter..



6….and remove the starter.

7. Install the starter in the reverse order of removal.
