Protect your car from rolling. To do this, place wedges or stones under the other side of the car.
Install the jack only on the channel
Remove the decorative cap on the wheel. To do this, install a screwdriver (onboard tools) between the rim and cap and wring out the cap.
Loosen wheel bolts (for one turn).
Raise the vehicle. Install the jack only in the places provided for this purpose on the side channel.
Unscrew wheel bolts.
Remove wheel and put on new wheel (emergency wheel) on the wheel hub.
Align the wheel on the hub - the holes in the rim should line up with the threaded holes in the wheel hub.
Screw in the wheel bolts and tighten by hand.
Lower the car, tighten the wheel bolts. The tightening torque must not exceed 85 Nm - tighten the nuts with a wheel spanner and do not drive them in with an extension wheel wrench.
Install the cap, correctly align the valve opening.
After about 10 km, check the nuts again for tightness.
The maximum speed with the emergency wheel is 80 km/h.
