Dismantling the hood

Both hood hinges are screwed on both sides (hood, wheel arch). And so they are replaced without much difficulty.

Open and prop up the hood.

Mark the position of the hinges on the hood.

Remove the windshield washer hoses from the mountings on the hood and carefully remove from the washer nozzles (slightly heat hardened hoses with a lighter).



Loosen the hinge bolts on the hood. Remove the hood. You owe (us) while assisting assistants).

When assembling, tighten the hinge bolts only slightly at first. Close the hood and level. On hinges, you can move the hood, but not level it in height.

Open the hood carefully. Tighten the mounting bolts. Close the hood, check its position and, if necessary, correct again.
