Door dismantling (Focus Turnier 1)

Since the work on all doors is almost identical, let's take the driver's door as an example. For quick assembly and disassembly of the door, as when working with a room door, the hinges should be disconnected. Thanks to this, especially when working in the area of strong ceilings, comfortable working conditions are quickly created. When repairing after an accident or when replacing doors, the gap sizes should be adjusted using larger openings for the hinges.

Stages of work

Disconnect the battery.

Unscrew the door grip tape from the A-pillar.

Turn left and disconnect the multi-pin connector for the speaker, central locking and electric windows in the door shaft.

Unscrew the safety bolts on the hinge pins.



Lift the door slightly and carefully remove it from the opening.

Place the door securely against the wall on the lining.

Before installation, lightly lubricate the hinge pins and grip tape.

Hang the door on the hinges and tighten the safety bolt.

Install the door grip tape and central connector - connect the battery.
