In cars with a manual gearbox, a single-disk dry clutch is used, controlled mechanically by means of a cable. The leading part of the clutch has a central disk spring. The clutch disk has a torsional vibration damper with coil springs. The release bearing is a ball bearing. The free travel is adjusted automatically and is done using a ratchet mechanism located near the clutch pedal.
