Withdrawal



1. Remove gearbox.

2. Unscrew the bolts securing the leading part of the clutch to the flywheel alternately crosswise, blocking the flywheel ring gear with a screwdriver.

3. Remove drive gear and clutch disc.

4. Disconnect the return spring from the clutch release forks.

5. Pull the clutch release forks out of their seat and remove them together with the release bearing.

6. Disconnect the release bearing and the clutch release forks.

Installation



1. Install the clutch housing to the transmission housing, tightening its mounting bolts to the correct torque.

2. Using a suitable bush, install a new ring on the release bearing on the press.

3. Lubricate with graphite or molybdenum (MOS2) grease the sliding surface of the release bearing and its guide sleeve.

4. Install the bearing onto the bushing.

5. Press the end of the forks into their socket so that the elastic ends wrap around the ball pin.

6. Hook the return spring onto the clutch release forks.

7. Make sure that the elastic ends of the forks compress the ball stud.

8. Install the clutch disc with the smooth side towards the flywheel. Insert dowel pin 21.044 into holes in clutch disc and flywheel.

9. Install the clutch driver and tighten its bolts alternately and crosswise to the correct torque.
