Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the gear reduction cable from the carburetor lever and remove the casing from the holder.
2. Disconnect the gear reduction cable from the gear reduction lever on the gearbox.
3. Unscrew the lock nut and remove the cable sheath from the holder.
4. Remove the gear reduction cable together with the casing.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Adjustment
1. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down and check whether the throttle valve in the carburetor is fully open.
2. Move the automatic transmission gearshift lever.
3. Shorten or lengthen the cable to obtain a gap of 0.8–1.0 mm between the carburetor axis cam and the gear reduction cable lever.
