Removal and installation the engine safety start relay (Sierra)

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine safety start relay.

2. Unscrew the relay mounting bolts and remove the relay together with the circular gasket.

3. Screw the relay together with a new round gasket.

4. Connect the electrical connector.

5. Check whether the engine can only be started in the "P" or "N" position of the gearshift lever. Check whether the reversing light comes on in the "R" position.
