Door closing mechanism

1. Mark the position of the latch pin with a pencil or scriber (10).
2. Unscrew the latch about half a turn.
3. Move latch (if the door is not tightly closed, move the latch inside the body a small distance in relation to the indicated position), tighten it and check the tightness of the door closing.
In cars manufactured since the end of 1984, instead of a latch, a bracket is used, which is fastened with two bolts of the type "Torx", which must be released during adjustment.
