Door closing mechanism

1. Use a pencil or scriber to mark the position of the latch pin (10).
2. Unscrew the latch about half a turn.
3. Move the latch (if the door is not closed tightly, move the latch inside the body a small distance in relation to the designated position), tighten it and check the tightness of the door closure.
In cars manufactured since the end of 1984, instead of a latch, a bracket is used which is secured with two Torx-type bolts, which must be loosened when adjusting.
