Lock cylinder mount

Withdrawal

1. Remove inner door trim and sealing film over lock cylinder.

2. Remove the mounting bracket by sliding it to the side.

3. Partially pull the lock cylinder out of the door, turn it up and disconnect the plastic lever (2) (see fig. Door closing mechanism) from the thrust of the lock cylinder.

4. Pull out the lock cylinder completely.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. It is necessary to pay attention to the correct placement of the seal, and install the mounting bracket under the first lug of the lock cylinder.

Spare parts available for lock cylinders with plastic lever but without sleeve (3) (see fig. Door closing mechanism).

Before installing a new lock cylinder, it is necessary to insert a bushing into the lever or install the old lever on the cylinder and fix it with a retaining ring.
