Lock cylinder mounting

Removal
1. Remove the inner door trim and the sealing film above the lock cylinder.
2. Remove the mounting bracket by sliding it to the side.
3. Partially pull the lock cylinder out of the door, turn it upward and detach the plastic lever (2) (see Fig. Door closing mechanism) from the lock cylinder thrust.
4. Remove the lock cylinder completely.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. It is necessary to pay attention to the correct placement of the seal, and install the fastening bracket under the first projection of the lock cylinder.
Lock cylinders with a plastic lever but without a bushing (3) are supplied as spare parts (see Fig. Door closing mechanism).
Before installing a new lock cylinder, it is necessary to insert a bushing into the lever or install the old lever onto the cylinder and secure it with a retaining ring.
