General information about the power system

            0

The power supply system includes a fuel tank with a built-in sensor for the fuel gauge, fuel lines, a fuel filter, a fuel pump and a carburetor or fuel injection system, respectively (a separate section is devoted to it) with air filter.

The fuel tank is located at the rear under the luggage compartment. On vehicles with a variable catalytic converter, the fuel tank is ventilated using a closed ventilation system. Gasoline vapors formed in the fuel tank are captured by a container with an activated carbon filter and dosed into the engine for combustion.

Car models made since 9/94 and equipped with petrol engines. equipped with a safety switch. which, in the event of an accident or overload, cuts off the power supply to the fuel pump. On the Limousine model, the switch is installed in the rear wall next to the rear door locking pin, and on the TURNER model it is located on the side behind the trim next to the right rear light. Whether the electrical circuit is open can be determined by the protrusion of the power button.

Safety note

If the smell of spilled gasoline is smelled after a collision, the cause of the fuel leakage must first be eliminated before deactivating the safety switch to prevent a fire.
