Adjustment
Raise the car onto the trestles.

Disconnect the reverse gear cable from the operating lever "C".
Loosen lock nut "B" and unscrew it a few turns.
Using the special FORD tool 17-005 or 17-005 A, turn the adjusting bolt with force until the key turns. This means that when the specified tightening torque value is reached, the key will turn without tightening the bolt.
Caution: Do not turn the adjusting bolt when the lock nut is tightened.
Loosen the adjusting bolt 2 full turns and tighten the lock nut.
Lower the car.
