Adjustment
Raise the car on the goats.
Detach the reverse gear cable from the operating lever -C-.
Loosen lock nut -B- and unscrew it a few turns.
Using the FORD special tool 17-005 or 17-005 A, turn the adjusting bolt with force until the key turns. This means that when the set torque value is reached, the wrench will turn without tightening the bolt.
Attention: do not turn the adjusting bolt when the lock nut is tightened.
Loosen the adjusting bolt 2 full turns and tighten the locknut.
Lower the car.
