1. Place the selector lever in the "Overdrive" position, opposite the rear "Stop" position, and have an assistant support it in this position during the adjustment.

3. Move the transmission drive lever to the "Overdrive" position (second stop after the rear position). Securely tighten the nut.

8. Check the operation of the drive at each stop and make sure that the engine starts only when the selector lever is in neutral.
