Illuminate the dust caps on the left and right with a lamp and check for damage, paying attention to the presence of traces of grease on the cuffs and related parts.
If a damaged cap is found, for safety reasons, the corresponding joint must be replaced together with the cap. Dirt that has penetrated into the joint will destroy it.
Check the tightness of the ball joint pin mounting nut and the locking cotter pin, but do not overtighten the nut.
Lower the car.
