In some vehicle models, a warning light on the instrument panel lights up when the brake fluid level is too low. However, it is advisable to check the fluid level visually approximately every 4 weeks.
The fluid level should be no higher than the MAX mark and no lower than the MIN mark.
Top up only with new brake fluid that meets SUPER DOT 4 or FORD ESD-M6C57A specification.
Due to wear of the brake linings, the brake fluid level drops slightly - this is normal.
If the level in the tank drops sharply in a short period of time, this indicates a loss of brake fluid.
In this case, it is necessary to immediately look for the leak. As a rule, the cause lies in worn cuffs of the wheel brake cylinders. For safety reasons, the brake system should be checked at a service station.
