Caution: This erases the contents of electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault code memory or radio memory. Therefore, before disconnecting the battery, be sure to read the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Do not mix up the wires of the voltage regulator relay and the generator.
Do not disconnect the battery or voltage regulator while the engine is running.
Never start the engine without a battery.
Do not remove the generator while the battery is connected.
Before performing electric welding work, be sure to disconnect the battery.
