Withdrawal
Disconnect ground wire (-) battery.
Attention. Disconnecting the battery erases the contents of the electronic memories, such as engine trouble codes or radio codes. Before switching off, also read the instructions in chapter "Removing and installing the battery".
Using a screwdriver, carefully pry up the cover of the operating mode selector lever (drawing A).
Remove the two securing screws -arrows- (figure B) on the lever panel. Raise the lever panel slightly and disconnect the switch's multi-pin connector located underneath. Remove the lever panel.
Remove 9 securing screws -arrows- and remove center console.
Installation
Move the center console to the installation position and tighten the 9 fixing screws.
Attach the panel of the operating mode selection lever, connect the multi-pin plug connector of the switch and tighten the two fastening screws.
Attach and fix the overlay of the lever for selecting the operating mode.
Connect ground wire (-) battery.
If available, set the clock and enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
