Removal and installation the decorative trim on the tailgate (Fusion)

You will need a 10 mm socket wrench.

1. Remove the rear door trim (see "Removal and installation the rear door trim").

2. Remove the license plate lights (see "Replacing license plate lights").



3. Unscrew the three nuts securing the decorative trim to the tailgate..

Note: This is how the tailgate trim stud nuts are located.

4. …and remove the decorative trim from the tailgate.

5. Install the tailgate trim in the reverse order of removal.
