3. Disconnect the wire connectors from the right…
4. …and the left license plate light.
5. Unscrew the four nuts securing the decorative trim to the door panel…
6. … use pliers to squeeze one piston on the left and one on the right of the pad…
7. …and remove the trim from the door.
8. Remove the sealing bushing of the tailgate release button wiring harness from the hole in the door panel, remove the harness from the door cavity…
9. …and remove the decorative trim.
10. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
