Removal and installation of a door of a back

Note. The tailgate is quite bulky and heavy, so we recommend removing it with an assistant.

You will need: flat blade screwdriver, wrench «on 10».

1. Remove the additional brake light (see «Replacement of an additional brake light»).

2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the license plate lights (see «Replacing license plate lights»).

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the tailgate lock motor and disconnect the limit switch harness connector on the lock (see «Replacing the tailgate lock»).

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the tailgate glass cleaner gearmotor (see «Replacing the tailgate window wiper motor»).



5. Pry off the rubber cover of the tailgate washer hose..



6.... take it out of the hole in the tailgate and then remove the hose from the hole.

Note. If you are removing the tailgate not for replacement, tie a wire to the wiring harness and washer hose and leave it in the cavity of the door so that when installing the door it is convenient to route the wiring harness back.

Note. Mark the location of the door hinges on the body to avoid their subsequent adjustment.

7. Remove the tailgate wiring harness in the same way.

8. Remove the tailgate stops (see «Replacing tailgate stops»).



9. Turn out on two bolts of fastening of a door of a back to loops from each party and remove a back door from the car.

10. Install the tailgate in the reverse order of removal.
