Brake booster

When the amplifier fails, the force on the brake pedal increases significantly, which negatively affects driving.

To check the operation of the amplifier with the engine off, press the brake pedal several times. Keeping the brake pedal depressed, start the engine. If the amplifier is working properly, then the pedal moves forward.

In addition to replacing the safety gasket and the one-way valve, other repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel using special equipment. Remove the brake booster only after removing the main brake cylinder, for which unscrew the four nuts and disconnect the brake booster pusher from the brake pedal.

Install in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 25 Nm. Be sure to bleed the brake system after assembly, as it has been depressurized.
